If any of these stamp sets or jumbo wheels are on your 'wishlist' then you may like to think about hosting your own workshop duing September to participate in this offer and to receive other FREE hostess gifts. Or you may like to simply place an order to receive this 'wheely' great deal! If you are interested please contact me.
If you do not have any jumbo wheels then you will also need to purchase a jumbo handle ($10.95) to use the wheel in. You can use these wheels by running over your stamp pads or better still using an inked cartridge ($13.50) of your favourite colour for continuous ink coverage. If your favourite ink colour is not available in a preinked cartridge then you can ink your own with an uninked jumbo cartridge ($13.50) and an ink refill ($4.95) of your colour choice - like I did for the In Color Purely Pomegranate.
Stampin' Around™ wheels can quickly add depth and dimension to your projects, both cardmaking and scrapbooking--and I would be happy to show you how.Happy stamping!

Stamp Set: Garden Whimsy
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose
If you think this was my first inspiration, then think again! In fact I tried a design using a Stampin' Up! wheel and masking butterflies with the colour combinations and my art critics (son, daughter and husband all liked different elements of what I was doing and encouraged me to keep experimenting). These I will turn into cards later. So I played some more and even then I did a few 'practice' runs (first picture below) criticising elements of them myself - like having the snail in front or behind the flowers, placement of the tulips etc! Everyone liked what I finally created and so second picture below you can see my messy workspace which I will leave to tidy tomorrow to have a clear work area so I can create another time as it is now 11:00 pm and time I was in bed as I have my 'regular' 9 to 5 job to go to tomorrow. I will hopefully find some more time to be creative on Friday my day at home and over the weekend as well as sharing with you all on my blog.

Technique used: Two-step Stamping
Technique used: Faux Silk (as viewed on Splitcoast Stamper's website)
One of the blogs I like to visit is Kristina Werner's (who is a graphic designer from Utah) as she puts up these great Color Inspirations for people to design from. I did one just recently (see my earlier post) although it was after the deadline of being able to submit it through her blog. However, today I happened to notice her latest Color Inspiration #19 and as today is my day at home from my 'regular' job (in which I should be doing housework but instead I usually distract myself with my crafts and walking on the beach with my friend and our dogs) I can attempt this challenge and submit it before the deadline!
Here is here Color Inspiration #19...
And instead of just doing one card I created two - although I like them both I will submit my first attempt.

Ink: Only Orange, Green Galore, Versamark
Accessories: Pumpkin Pie Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Rhinestone brad, Die-cut Blooms
In keeping with the theme I created the card below for him. Although I did not use Stampin' Up! inkpads (I used ColorBox Chalk inkpads) I did use Stampin' Up! Glossy White and Not Quite Navy cardstock. I used real playing cards (not what they were playing poker with) to give him a Royal Flush - I think that is the hand correctly named as I am not a poker player! I was encouraged by my family to post this card to my blog as they thought it was an original design and they all liked it. As his grandfather's watch, he used to wear, had broken we bought him one for his birthday - he chose it as he has a particular taste - chunky and unusual.
We also had a family celebration on his actual birthday, 3 August at Da Angelo's a great pizza and pasta restaurant in Battery Point, Hobart.
I have often been inspired by the cards created on various blogs that have been orginally inspired by the Colour Inspirations posted on Kristina Werner's blog and so today I thought I would give it a try myself. This is the colour inspiration that Kristina posted (and I was too late to submit it to her blog as she has reduced her deadline due to the number of people who participate).
And here is my creation...
