I am going to be in trouble!

With my niece that is...as I have forgotten to pop her birthday card in the post today (or it should really have been earlier) to arrive in Victoria tomorrow for her birthday, sorry Leah! Hopefully her mum doesn't pop in her before it arrives and show her that I have posted it on my blog before it gets to her! Anyway here is the card I made for her using the newly released Floral District DSP, which I coordinated with Tangerine Tango and Lucky Limeade cardstock, and then made a beautiful embossed butterfly using Tempting Turquoise. I added some ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment pack I still had from one of many earlier purchases (the benefits of being a demonstrator, you get stuff at a 20% discount, and so it is easy for your stash to grow and grow and grow!).

Here is the card I made for my beautiful niece Leah...

The decorated inside (see Karen B I do it sometimes!)
Talking about being in trouble, you should have seen my craft room just a few days before my new Catalogue Launch. A friend had kindly offered to help me rearrange it, thanks Jody-ann, so it would work better having the couch/bed in there as well as all my craft stash. We moved things around but as we did it quickly and didn't remove all the items in the cupboards before we moved them, some needed some fixing to strengthen them and to get them to look more straight, considering the floor is not level either! My dear husband offered to do that a couple of nights before my catalogue launch and so I therefore had to empty the cupboards for him to do that and this is what it looked like....timing wasn't good....however, it is done now and my launches went well.

Photo not good as I quickly snapped it while DH was getting more screws and a level.
Anyway, as I said my new Catalogue Launches went well and I had some lovely new ladies come along to my place to share in the excitement and to have some fun playing with some of the new products I had preordered.

Here is the first of the two cards they made, which could be a Father's Day card or alternatively they were able to make it into a masculine birthday card. It featured the new Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations Cardstock, 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, the new In Colour Midnight Muse cardstock, Bitty Banners Framelits and of course a favourite stamp set of mine The Open Sea. They were able to compare the old and new style stamp pads using More Mustard and the new In Colours Raspberry Ripple and Midnight Muse.

Here is the second card they made, a Christmas card featuring the new Scentsational Season stamps and coordinating Framelit dies, and Be of Good Cheer DSP and Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Everyone had some fun, enjoyed the champagne (Sparkling Pink!) and chocolates, and I look forward to sharing some more ideas at the next three upcoming workshops over the next couple of months, and playing with some more our lovely new products.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week, back to work for me over the next four days!

PS - feel free to leave some comments about my blog makeover as I am still not sure it is what I prefer, may make some further changes when I have the time.
