CASEing Teneale Williams

Two cards and two blog posts in one day! That is only because of the inspiration I find among Stampin' Up! demonstrators in webland...such as the very talented Teneale Williams.

I saw this card of hers a few days ago and thought "that is great" and one that I wanted to CASE ('Copy and Share Everything' or 'Copy and Share Everywhere' or 'Copy and Steal Everything' or 'Copy and Selectively Edit')...whatever the acronym stands for I didn't try to edit anything as I think it was beautiful as is...although I did use a different greeting. I also found I didn't have a Mint Macaron ink pad so I used Pear Pizzazz instead.

I don't think my water colouring is to the standard of Teneale's or the accuracy in cutting! I didn't have the patience to let each layer of colour dry completely before adding more depth of colour. Something you really need to do when not using specific water colouring paper.

I am always inspired by her layers and eye for detail and as I can't attend a class (as much as I would love to!) because she lives in Sydney I just have to aim to replicate her card to the best of my abilities. I think I may even use this as one of my cards for this weekend's stamp class at my place, giving Teneale all the credit though!

I even copied the inside of her card...

You must pop by Teneale Williams' blog too as she is full of inspiration and makes the most beautiful and detailed cards.

Wedding Acceptance

Well I haven't been a very good blogger of late, however, I have managed to play in my craft room today as I needed to create a wedding acceptance card. So I thought why not blog the results.

I also used the colour combination I saw over on the Just Add Ink blog (Blackberry Bliss, Tip Top Taupe and Rich Razzleberry) as the wedding invitation seemed to lend itself to this challenge, so why not achieve two things at once!

My nephew Chris and his fiance Hollie are getting married in late April and my husband and I have been invited and we would love to share this special occasion with them.

Here is the card I created today...

Both my camera batteries were flat so I had to rely on phone camera to take these shots and I don't think they are as true to the colours as I would have liked.
