Quick & Easy Thank You Cards

At OnStage in Sydney we were shown a quick and easy technique to make multiple cards and a great way to use up our stock of Designer Series Paper (DSP), if you have an addiction like me!

This was a great way for me to make some quick and easy thank you cards that I am very much in need of at the moment...although I did struggle to find a suitable sized 'thank you' stamp and had to resort to a retired stamp set (which isn't a bad thing either). Might be something I will have to look through the new catalogue for!!

Create these great note cards with a 6x6 paper stack and Stampin' Up! Note Cards (or alternatively you could use a 12x12 sheet of designer paper and a regular size card base - which I will do in a later post).

I created several of these cards featuring the Love Blossoms 6x6 paper stack from Stampin Up!.

You can create them with any 6x6 paper using the dimensions and instructions I've shared at the bottom of this post.

Once you cut your paper and add it to your note card, it's loads of fun to go through your stamps and pick out a variety of greetings to fit in the space!!  At this time I just made thank you cards because that is what I needed, however, it would be great for quick and easy birthday cards, friendship cards, thinking of you etc.

Instructions:
  1. Cut 2" off your 6x6 sheet of DSP.
  2. Then cut the larger piece in half, so you have two 3" x 4" strips.
  3. Cut a diagonal slash in the 3" x 4" piece.
  4. Adhere you two pieces on your notecard, placing one from the top and the other from the bottom, giving you a diagonal gap in the middle.
  5. Stamp a greeting in the gap.
  6. Embelish if you desire.
Don't you think this is a great idea and so quick and easy?

I will come back at another time and show you the same technique but using a 12x12 sheet of DSP, which you can cut in a similar way and create 9 cards using standard size card bases.
