2018 Colour Revamp!

One of the exciting things to come out of OnStage last weekend was the 2018 Colour Revamp! Stampin' Up! make a point of keeping their colours fresh and on trend and therefore, updating our colour spectrum's to be on trend, which is a basis for this revamp.

This means our colours will be updated in the soon to be released new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. There have been no changes to the core colour offering since 2013 and SU! plan to update colours every three to five years....so here it is!

The colour revamp in a nutshell:
  • keeping 27 of the existing core colours
  • 13 core colours are going away
  • adding 10 new core colours
  • adding 6 returning In Colors that now will be core colours (colours offered in the past that will now be available again)
Here are the four new colour collections:

The 13 colours that are retiring, get your supplies now before they are gone!, are:

We will still have our 10 In Colors, with five new ones being added with this new AC and they are:

Some basics to note:
  • Basic Black, White & Very Vanilla have been moved out of the Neutrals collection and into a Basics range of their own.
  • The Neutrals Collection now has some base colours added - Merry Merlot, Gray Granite & Mossy Meadow.
  • Some colours have moved around into different collections from before.
  • You'll notice there's some returning In Colors! Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo - great to have some of our favourites back!
  • Brights have some new colours - Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape. Don't you love the delicious names!
  • Subtles also have some new colours - Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather.
  • Shaded Spruce is a new colour in the Regals Collection.

Stampin' Up! also took advantage of the new colour revamp to update our ink pad cases. They're now even easier to open, made to be stackable, and have stickers for the inside so you can be sure you've got the right ink colour when you stamp. The print is bigger, the colour label is larger, and the new lids fit even more snugly, for less ink evaporation over time.

The new ink pads still have the pad upside down when closed to bring the ink to the surface of the pad to always keep it moist and ready to ink up your stamps! They also still fit in the current Stamp Caddy, although not as snugly, and you will need to just turn it more gently so they don't spin out!

When can you get to order these new colours? These new colours will be available from 1 June 2018 when the new Annual Catalogue becomes available to customers. However, there will be a sneak peak release of some new products in May and I will more details of that soon. In the meantime, check out the Retiring Lists and Products, and get your supplies in quick of any of the retiring inkpads, refills, cardstock etc.
