CASEing the Catalogue for Birthday Cards!

When you need to make several birthday cards in one week and are low on inspiration and time then it is simply a matter of turning the pages of our new Annual Catalogue and seeing what projects that are shared within it's pages that inspire you!

That is what I did to create a birthday card for my niece who is about to reach her teen years and for which her family celebrate, so a card from me will be expected by her, and I couldn't disappoint her this year.

I picked the card on page 66 with the balloons to CASE the design for my card using some bright and cheery DSP from the Follow Your Art pack.

I had to add the retired large numbers to celebrate her teen age and am very happy with how it turned out... a great way to celebrate her new milestone. This how my card turned out...

I love the bright and cheery papers in this designer series paper pack. Here are a couple of closeups...

Of course the inside needed a little bit of love and a cheery greeting too...

I had another birthday card to make for someone else in my extended family for later this week and so I picked the card shown below, top left, and which can be found on page 46 of the new Annual Catalogue.

I used the same design but change the colour combination to Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. Again I incorporated some retired product, always good to use up our supplies, being the ribbon which was the only one that I had that coordinated.

These will not be my first and only CASE projects from the catalogue as I have more cards to make and many more that inspire me from the catalogue. So keep following my blog and/or social media posts to see what further projects I make.

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator. Just click on the Shop Online With Mae button on the right side of the screen to go directly to my online store or drop me an email:, if you have any questions. Happy Stamping!
