One Piece 6"x12" Equals Four Cards!!

I just love using our beautiful Designer Series Papers to create with and the ones coming in the 2019 Holiday Catalogue are just divine!

In my catalogue preorder I purchased all the new DSP to create with myself, plus, it allowed me to pre-prepare two of my paper shares for the first two early birds who signed up for my paper share to receive theirs earlier than the others! As I will be ordering my paper shares when the catalogue goes live on 4 September and as soon as the products arrive, I need to cut and package them, ready to post direct to my paper share participants. The first two who have signed up will get theirs posted on 4 September (thus, receiving them earlier!) or can collect them directly from me on that day! As we can not sell products from the new catalogue before 4 September.

Today I used just one piece of a paper share, a 6" x 12" piece from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP, which has seasonal images and all-purpose patterns with copper accents on one side to create four cards!

I allowed the DSP to be my card focus and just added some cardstock, embelishments from the Brightly Gleaming Suite of products, some stamping and/or some embossing to finish them off.

Here are the cards I created today...

The first two cards I made I used the same template but just added different elements. One was a standard cardstock base the other I embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder.

I also stamped and embossed the mistletoe with Copper Embossing Powder and watercoloured the leaves and berries, then fussy cut them out.

I edged my DSP panel with some Copper Foil and I also used my Stampin' Blends to colour in some rhinestones in Cherry Cobbler (top card) and Mossy Meadow (bottom card) to add some coordinated bling to my finished project.

If you look closely at the sample projects on pages 30-31 of the Holiday Catalogue you will see that I CASEd various elements shown on my cards as well. I love the effect of the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder on my copper bauble above.

Curious on how I did the green leaves on the card above? It is using the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements just flipped over to the vanilla side and colouring with some Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends! Voila!

Having purchased the entire suite of products in the Brightly Gleaming range it was easy to make cards as everything I had coordinated together no matter what design I used.

This was just using one piece of DSP from my paper share, image how many more cards I can make with the other pieces! Interested in getting your hands on a taste of all the beautiful papers without breaking the budget, then go to my blog post here, for all the details of participating in my paper share!
