Stamping Together & Shoe Box Swaps!

On Saturday, this past weekend, Bronwyn Eastley (addINKtive Designs) held a get together for some Tassie Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and so I drove up from Dodges Ferry to Legana, picking up a couple of friends and fellow demonstrators on the way, so we could all stamp together, inspire one another and just catch up. I was up at 6 am, on the road by 6.30 am and we arrived safely at Bron's just after 10:30 am (I was home by 7:30 pm). It was a lot of fun and a great day out for me.

I suggested we all do a 'Shoe Box Swap' where you create a card and put together pre-cut kits and all the stamps and supplies needed to make the card in a shoe box sized container. That way we all get to create a card, while chatting and sharing, and as we complete one the next shoe box comes around.... we then go away with several cards for inspiration and future class ideas!

As there were five of us gathering together yesterday we got to make five cards from this shoe box idea and they were all different in every way.

We completed most of the cards before lunch and then took a leisurely stroll to the corner to get a delicious kebab from the local shop and after lunch Bronwyn allowed us to select another card to create from kits she had left over, from one of her recent cards. Most chose to do a daisy and butterfly card, however, I had to just try one a little more complicated and use a stamp set and die bundle that I don't have.... Cuckoo For You Bundle!

This was fun to do and I love the little mechanism to open the cuckoo clock door...

Thank you to Bronwyn for organising this fun day of stamping and for the Sue and Julie who travelled up with me...definitely something I would enjoy doing again!

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
