JAI #205 - Just Add a Sunburst!

Tina has given us a bright and cheery challenge this week over at Just Add Ink! She has suggested we...

Just Add a... Sunburst!

I have been wanting to have a go at making at the Starburst or Sunburst cards that I have been seeing around blog world lately and thought this challenge gave me the perfect excuse to do so.

Here is my bright and sunny card...

Mae's Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Express Yourself (Hostess set)
Ink: Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Eastern Elegance DSP
Accessories: Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Bitty Banners Framelits, Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain, Big Shot, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive, Sponge

Dawn Olchefske has a great video on YouTube that shows how easy they are to make. Check out the other DT projects for inspiration and then join in the challenge of adding a sunburst to your project this week and link it up over on Just Add Ink.

This paper piecing technique is a fun one to try, but I like that you also embossed it too. A card full of happiness Mae ♥

Love the grey and yellow combo Mae, just feels like the sun is rising out of the clouds! Embossing the panel adds a fabulous layer of texture too! xxx

Mae I love the added detail that the sponging gives to this card :)
