Breaking News!

Stampin' Up! have just announced to us that our Trimmer and Big Shot and all the accompanying accessories (blades, cutting mats etc) will be retiring with our current catalogue (as of 3 June 2019 or when stocks run out).

The company has experienced challenges with their supplier and are taking the opportunity to research and explore a replacement option for this product, which will not be the same as the current Stampin’ Trimmer.

At this point they don't have an estimated time-frame of when the new cutting tool will be available.

Therefore, regarding the trimmer, specifically the blades, the company has ordered 6-months inventory worth for the warehouse (based upon historical patterns) and as soon as the Retiring List goes live next week, you will only be able to order a maximum of 6 packs at a time. I believe this stock will not last so I encourage you to order in your replacement supplies while you can!

Retiring Trimmer Products....

I have seen tools and products come and go in my past 12 years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and believe that SU! aim to provide the best quality papercrafting products and experiences, while listening to demonstrator and customer needs, and being innovative with products. A good example of this is the Stamparatus, stamp positioning tool, that took a while to come out but I believe is the best on the papercrafting market.

Innovation requires risk and this is also the same with the Big Shot and their decision to move in a new direction for our die-cutting and embossing line of products. SU! have done extensive research, demonstrator feedback, and evaluation to make this product line change.

In the pursuit of a better overall die-cutting and embossing product line, SU! are experiencing more significant challenges than originally planned for, although not insurmountable, they are having an impact on the timeline for these changes. Therefore, there will not be a die-cutting machine in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue.

We will still have new dies and embossing folders in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue and they will work with any die-cutting or embossing machine (in some cases, adaptations like shims might be required).

I would encourage you to order any extra cutting platforms you need now and if you like any particular dies or embossing folder designs order those too as they may be going on the Retiring List (available from 15th April).

Big Shot & Accessories....
Big Shot

I have confidence that SU! are moving with the times, being innovative, and aiming to bring us the best tools and products for our papercrafting and creative experiences!

Upcoming Price Changes

I want to also bring to your attention that there will be a slight price increase with some of our product range, including cardstock, envelopes, designer series papers, stamp sets etc.

Feel free to stock up on any of your favourite cardstock colours, basic supplies of envelopes and accessories etc before the price rise takes effect with the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue (3 June).

When they gave us this list SU! didn't realise they had included the new In Colors on there and so, prior to them being announced and shown at OnStage events this week, everyone is speculating as to what they will look like! What do you think? Aren't the names enticing?
