Stamping Sisters Blog Hop - Celebrate Birthdays

We are shaking things up a little this month with the launch of our July Stamping Sisters Tutorial Bundle. We are having a blog hop to showcase a few extra projects that we have created around our theme of "Celebrating Birthdays" and our exclusive tutorial projects (only available through the tutorial bundle).

Whether you are starting here or are following along with our blog hop from Carolyn's blog, make sure you hop around all five Stamping Sister's blogs, to see the creative inspiration that we have for you. We would appreciate you leaving us some love with a comment on each of our blog posts. Then make sure you purchase or earn our July Tutorial Bundle to see the step-by-step instructions for our exclusive tutorial projects (details below).

Who are Stamping Sisters?
We are a group of experienced papercrafters and Independent Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators in Australia, who have teamed up to provide you with monthly creative project inspiration.

Our Design Team members are:
Chloe Evans, Di Barnes, Ellen Woodbridge, Cazz Boylan, Mae Collins.

My tutorial project, and so this additional project, was based around the technique of tone-on-tone and using dies to create a unique background.

My card below features the "To A Wild Rose" stamp set and coordinating "Wild Rose Dies". The die cut flower outlines are in Mint Macaron, the same as my card base and panel, which gives the tone on tone effect.

I was really happy with how this card turned out, as well as the masculine one I did for my tutorial, which features the "Sailing Home" stamp set and coordinating "Smooth Sailing Dies".

The current Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue has a project in the World of Good Suite on page 25 that features this technique too! It was when a customer asked me what embossing folder they had used on the little card, and I realised it was the world die cut in the same colour of the card base, that gave me the idea of using this technique to create my July Stamping Sisters Tutorial. It is a great technique to have in your creative ideas toolkit, so grab our monthly tutorial bundle to use and refer back to when you need an idea or inspiration!
